Angel was the star of the show and had creative control over content, including choosing what music and books would be introduced to Chicago's youth. She took this seriously and it paid off in ratings.

She also created key aspects of the show itself including this presentation. This was unusual even then. Where she "learned" to do this is unknown. Our best guess is that she was simply a highly intelligent, multi-talented, person.

Obviously, her presentation carried the day because Mr. Wiggle (Played by Bruce Newton Puppeteer) became an integral part of the show.

Also, as Angel postulated Mr Wiggle might not speak, which in fact he didn't. Both Bob Keeshan (Captain Kangaroo), and Frazier Thomas (Garfield Goose), used this device several years later with the puppets on their shows. They also worked with Bruce Newton. .

The entire presentation was contained in what was once a beautifully bound 3 pole binder made from leather. It was damaged and regrettably not salvageable.
